private purchased, in olive drab shade no. 51 (OD 51), with hand embroidered U.S collar devices and metal rank insignia to both shoulders (silver sterling), on the left arm with US army Europe SSI on the right arm with the 5th Army SSI. Inside with brown satin lining with tag " Regulation Army Officers Uniform " and quartermaster tag, dated June 24 1942. Arm length 61 cm, chest circumference 80 cm, length 75 cm, some minor waist moth damages. he waist belt is present. Condition 2-3 Comes with matching trousers, waist circumference 82 cm, length 100 cm, inside with tag "Regulation Army Officers Trousers", several laundry numbers, condition 2

Eigentumstück aus olivbrauner Gabardine, hochgesteckter Kragen, mit Metallabzeichen "US" und mit dem geflügeltem Propeller des "Air Service", rotbraune Bakelitknöpfe mit US Hoheitsadler, auf der linken Brust mit Flugzeugführerabzeichen in Metallfaden gestickter Ausführung auf schwarzem Grund, linke Unterarm mit 3 Winkel für je 6 Monate Dienstzeit in Übersee. Innen braunes Tuchfutter mit Schneideretikett und Trägername "2 Lt R.M Wyman, Date 9/3/18". Armlänge 59 cm, Brustumfang 78 cm, Rückenlänge 68 cm, Zustand 2.
Das "Air Service" wurde in Frankreich im Frühling 1918 eingesetzt, und konnte noch bis Kriegsende etliche erfolge zu verbuchen, u.a. 756 deutsche  Flugzeuge und 76 Fesselballons wurden zerstört.

Arm length 65 cm, chest circumference 78 cm, length 78 cm. The waist belt is present.
Ribbon bar is original but post-war applied and might be not in the correct order

CIB can only be worn if you were in the Infantry, this soldier might have been in the infantry before his service in the artillery. Trousers in serge wool, with size stamping W32/L33. and quartermaster etiquette dated from 4. Dec. 1944. Waist circumference 40 cm, length 109 cm. Condition 3
